Terms and Conditions — Black Hive Ink and Arts

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using this website, submitting an inquiry, booking an appointment, or otherwise interacting with Black Hive Ink and Arts ("we," "us," "our," "the Studio") through this online booking system, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use this site or submit your information.

2. Use of This Website

This website allows prospective and current clients to submit tattoo inquiries, receive estimates, schedule appointments, complete required consent and waiver forms, and communicate with Studio staff. You agree to provide accurate, current information when submitting an inquiry or booking an appointment, and to promptly update that information if it changes.

3. Appointments, Deposits, and Studio Policies

Appointments, deposit requirements, cancellation and rescheduling terms, and refund eligibility are governed by the Studio's separately posted policies, provided to you at the time of booking and deposit. By booking an appointment and/or paying a deposit, you agree to those policies in addition to these Terms.

4. Text Messaging (SMS) Program

By providing your phone number and opting in when submitting an inquiry or booking an appointment, you agree to receive text messages from Black Hive Ink and Arts related to your appointment(s), including appointment reminders, requests to complete required consent/waiver forms, estimate follow-ups, and responses to messages you send us.

  • Message frequency varies based on your appointments and communications with us.

  • Message and data rates may apply.

  • Reply STOP at any time to opt out of text messages. Reply START to opt back in.

  • Reply HELP for assistance, or contact us directly at [studio phone/email].

  • Consent to receive text messages is not required as a condition of receiving tattoo services from the Studio.

  • Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

5. Age Requirement

You must be at least 18 years old to book a tattoo appointment or receive tattoo services from Black Hive Ink and Arts, consistent with North Carolina law and the Studio's consent/waiver requirements.

6. Tattoo Consent and Liability Waiver

Separate from these Terms, all clients are required to review and sign a Liability Waiver and Consent Form prior to any tattoo appointment, governing health screening, assumption of risk, and related matters. These Terms do not modify or replace that separate signed document.

7. Intellectual Property

Reference images and design materials you submit remain your property or the property of their original rights holder. By submitting reference images, you represent that you have the right to share them with the Studio for the purpose of discussing and planning your tattoo.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Black Hive Ink and Arts is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of this website or booking system, including delays or failures in electronic communications (including text messages) beyond our reasonable control.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of this website after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
